Anuppur, a 29-year-old tribal woman who works as a petrol filler at a petrol pump in village Khanda under Kotwali police station area was raped and being upset, the woman wrote a suicide note a day before and abandoned the idea of ​​committing suicide and lodged a complaint in the Kotwali police station. Where the police registered a case against the accused Ramkhelavan Rathore, resident of Khanda, under sections 376, 376 (2) (N) and section 3 (2) (V) of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes Act. The police arrested the accused on September 2 and presented him in the court, from where he was sent to jail.

The 29-year-old woman who fills petrol at Prem Petroleum's petrol pump in village Khanda told that she was introduced to Ramkhelavan Rathore, an employee who fills petrol at the same petrol pump, after which the conversation between the two had started. It had been only 10 days since we talked that Ramkhelavan Rathore told me at the petrol pump to come and meet him near the field near my house, so I went to meet him by getting influenced by his words. There he started asking me to have physical relations and even after my refusal, he forcibly started having physical relations with me and asked me to always support him, I got lured by this and did not tell my family about the incident.

Abortion was done when I was pregnant
The woman told that during this time Ramkhelavan had physical relations with me many times, after which I became pregnant twice, on which Ramkhelavan brought me tablets twice, due to which I had abortions. For the third time in the month of April 2024, I again became pregnant and then I was given tablets, but my husband came to know about this, who refused to keep me with him. After which when I asked Ramkhelavan to keep me with him, he told me that I am from a low caste and hence I should not keep him with me.

Suicide note was written a day before complaint
The woman said that she was upset and thought of committing suicide by writing a suicide note a day before the complaint, but later I changed my mind and went to the police station to complain. She told that despite knowing that I am a woman from Scheduled Caste, he has sexually exploited me many times. The woman told that she was married about 10 years ago, from which we have four children. In the month of May, my husband left me after a fight and went to work outside Durg. After which I started working by filling petrol in Prem Petroleum Khanda.

On the complaint of the woman, a case of rape has been registered against the accused and the accused has been arrested and presented in the court, from where he has been sent to jail.
