Maihar, Maihar MLA Shrikant Chaturvedi held a joint meeting of Gram Panchayat Secretary, Employment Assistant in Janpad Panchayat Sabha Ghar. Janpad Panchayat CEO Pratipal Singh Bagri, Sub-Engineer and all the Secretaries and Employment Assistants were present in this meeting.

Maihar MLA Shrikant Chaturvedi spoke clearly in the meeting in which he said that if you want to do a job, then you will have to do the work of the public as well. Apart from this, today he said that the public's Jan Yojana should be resolved in the Panchayat itself. The names of ineligible people of BPL should be removed and the name of the eligible person should be added to provide the benefits of the government schemes.

The problems of the residents of the Gram Panchayat should be resolved first at the Panchayat level. The pending complaints in the Janpad and District Panchayat should be resolved as soon as possible.

Persons above 60 years of age should be given the benefit of pension scheme by adding their name in Samagra Samajik Suraksha.

Further Mr. Chaturvedi said that he will be on tour of Gram Panchayat two days a week on Monday and Tuesday, in such a situation he will meet the local people, if during this time the villagers do not get the benefit of beneficiary oriented schemes due to the negligence of the Secretary or Employment Assistant, then action of suspension will be taken directly and not transfer.

Apart from this, pay special attention to the quality in the construction work of Gram Panchayat, if there is a complaint of poor construction, action will be taken against the responsible officers including the Deputy Secretary. No compromise will be made in the case of corruption.

Maihar MLA said that the Gram Panchayat office should open on time every day so that maximum beneficiary oriented schemes are implemented, all the Assistant Engineers, Sub-Engineers should verify the works of the Panchayat, what work can be changed if not required, what work can be done, tell this action plan within 2 days!
