Purnia, The body of a girl was found hanging from a plum tree in suspicious circumstances with the help of a scarf. The deceased was identified as Ruby Khatoon (22), daughter of Mo Israfil, resident of Ward 4 Badar Chowk of Parora Panchayat of K. Nagar police station area. The incident took place near Badar Chowk of K. Nagar police station area. As soon as the information about the body being found was received, the local police reached the spot and sent the body to Purnia GMCH for postmortem.

Father made serious allegations

Regarding the incident, the family members say that the girl was in love with a boy named Lalu. The boy called her to meet him. He did wrong with his friends and then killed her. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to Purnia GMCH for postmortem, while the forensic team has collected many important evidence from the spot.

She was in love with a boy from the village. Regarding the incident, the deceased's father Md. Israfil and sister Md. Sajida said that Ruby Khatoon had been meeting Lalu (24), a friend of a boy named Sonu Kumar, who lives in the same village, 6 months ago. Lalu is a resident of Oriya village. They said that both of them met. Then both became friends. Slowly, both started loving each other. Both started talking on the phone. According to the call details, the lover's call came on the keypad phone at around 2 pm on Saturday afternoon. Shortly after this, she left the house. But when it was late evening, she did not return home. When she did not return home for a long time, the family members started searching for her, but nothing could be found. In this sequence, they suspected the boy. After which they went to the boy living in the village who was a friend of Ruby's lover Lalu. From here, they again set out to search for the girl. There were scratch marks on the body, clothes were also torn

During the search, the villagers told about finding the body of a girl hanging from a plum tree near Jhawari Ghat near the railway station, about 800 meters from K. Nagar police station. Shortly after this, they reached the spot and then identified the body. The girl's knee is touching the ground. Clothes are also torn and there are light scratch marks on the body. Seeing this, it appears that her lover Lalu called her on the pretext of meeting. He did wrong to her along with his friends and then to convert the murder into suicide, hung the body with the help of a dupatta from the plum tree and then killed her.Forensic team found many important evidences

Giving information about the incident, K. Nagar police station in-charge Navdeep Gupta said that as soon as the information was received, the police of K. Nagar police station reached the spot. Also, Purnia forensic team was called. Many important evidences have been collected in the investigation. The police have sent the body to GMCH Purnia for post-mortem. At present no application has been received from the family. Further action will be taken after receiving the application.
