Shahdol, Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Shahdol Kumar Pratik, Shahdol Police is continuously taking major actions against illegal drug smugglers. In this sequence, the special team of Superintendent of Police and Kotwali Police have succeeded in catching a large quantity of narcotic injections being brought by train. It is worth mentioning that the special team of Superintendent of Police received information from an informer that a person named Asad Ali is coming to Shahdol by train from Pali with a large quantity of narcotic injections. On the information received, the Superintendent of Police directed the Kotwali Police to take action. The police did a recce at Shahdol railway station with the help of the informer. After some time, Asad Ali got down from the said train and was caught by the police by surrounding him. On searching, 1,200 pieces of banned narcotic injections were recovered from his bag. No valid documents were presented by the accused regarding their possession. The police seized the injection and arrested the accused and presented him before the court. A case was registered against the accused under Section 8, 21 NDPS Act and 5/13 MP Drug Control Act and investigation was taken up. In the above action, under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Kotwali Inspector Raghavendra Tiwari, Sub Inspector Rakesh Singh Bagri, Sub Inspector Ramraj Pandey, Rajendra Tiwari, Inspector Dinesh Prasad Kewat, Mahendra Pal Shukla, Mayaram Ahirwar, R Hridesh Bhadauria and R Satyaprakash Mishra, Prakash Dwivedi and Himavant Chaturvedi from Cyber ​​Cell played a commendable role.
