Security personnel have been deployed at Bamourkalan, Lalitpur, Chanderi border of Shivpuri district. While every vehicle coming and going is being monitored, the areas near the MP-UP border are under the strictest vigil. Because miscreant goons from Uttar Pradesh enter Madhya Pradesh and commit mischief. Every vehicle is being checked by setting up checking points on the highway.

Due to the elections, there is strict police vigil on the borders of the district. If someone keeps excess cash with him, his complete records will have to be kept with him. Otherwise this amount may be confiscated. Similarly, bills for any material will also have to be shown to the police or FST team. Also, surveillance is being done through CCTV cameras.
