Here, the material used in cement in the factory and the smoke coming out of the chimney also emit pollution.

Local people said that due to this pollution, people are suffering from diseases like breathing, asthma, cancer etc. Not only humans but animals are also suffering from many diseases.

Along with this, people also said that the intensity of smoke is more in the morning on the part of the cement factory management and carelessness is being taken in checking the pollution. People have demanded from the administration that some action should be taken in this regard as soon as possible. So that people do not have to face problems. Let me tell you that ever since the inception of MP Birla Perfect Cement Plant Reliance in Maihar, the plant has not run any campaign in the name of health facilities for the local villagers living around the plant, nor has any health related campaign been conducted. There is no doctor available for the prevention of diseases, in such a situation only smoke is given to the residents of the area.
