Satna, local people reached the police station on Wednesday creating a ruckus in Bajraha Tola locality of the city. Where they handed over a youth in a drunken state to the police. The youth had a polythene bag in his hand which was filled with drugs. The police was also surprised to see a large number of people suddenly reaching the police station. From the road to inside the police station premises, people started creating a ruckus and expressed their anger on the sale of drugs and those who deal in them. In anger, people also raised slogans against the police. TI Kotwali Rawendra Dwivedi reached among the people and took information from them. The angry people in the crowd told the police that Bajraha Tola has become a stronghold of drug sales and dealers. Shivkumar Basor, who lives here, and his brother Bharat Basor deal in drugs like ganja, syrup, pills and injections and illegal weapons. They also force other boys from the locality. Those who refuse are beaten up. People told that Shivkumar tells people that even the police cannot do anything to him. Complaints against him have been made to the police station and the CM helpline, but still no action has been taken. The TI listened to them and explained to them and assured them that the police will take strict action on this. He also appealed to the people that if they show unity like this and protest in the locality itself, then the situation may change and the police will also help. The youth who was caught and taken to the police station by the mob, a lot of intoxicant pills were found in his bag. Despite all this, he kept calling someone and telling people that he was calling those policemen who take money from him.
