Katni, More than a dozen meat and fish shops located at Mission Chowk in Katni city have been running openly for a long time. Shops selling normal food items were also open nearby, due to which people's health was being openly played with. And as CM Dr. Mohan Yadav's order to sell meat openly has raised hopes of action. And along with the district administration, the Municipal Corporation administration also took action against these shops on the fourth day and closed them all. For the last three to four days, the Municipal Corporation has identified those who have been running meat, egg and fish shops in the city for many years, conducted a survey and prepared a report, and is taking immediate action to remove them.

Municipal Corporation officials said that many meat, mutton and egg shops are open on the main roads of the city, Mission Chowk, due to which the bad smell of the people keeps them in bad condition throughout the day. Egg shops will be easily visible at many places. Generally, there are egg and meat shops running around the places where people go to buy food items. Following the orders of the CM, the work of removing shops selling meat, fish and eggs in the open is continuing.
