Fulfilling the long-awaited demand of the villagers at the holy Potiyapat Dham under Lalbarra, Gram Panchayat Bamhni, a Bhoomi Pujan ceremony was organized decently for the construction of a cultural building on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 12 noon. This building has been approved from the MP fund, whose estimated cost is Rs 15 lakh. The building is being constructed keeping in mind the convenience of religious, cultural and social events of the general public. MP Smt. Bharti Pardhi (Balaghat-Seoni) performed Bhoomi Pujan as the chief guest in this important program. In her address, she said, "The construction of a cultural building in the rural area is a strong initiative, which will not only promote religious events, but will also provide the facility of a well-organized place to the villagers." As special guests, social worker Mr. Anurag Chaturmohata, Mr. Jhaamsingh Nageshwar (Chairman, District Panchayat Balaghat), Mrs. Devilata Gwalvanshi (President, District Panchayat Lalbarra), Mr. Kishore Paliwal (Vice President, District Panchayat Lalbarra), Mr. Prasanna Avadhiya (President, BJP Mandal Lalbarra), Mrs. Keshar Maniram Bhoyar (Member, District Panchayat Lalbarra) registered their dignified presence.
Potiyapat Dham area has been a center of religious faith, but now with the construction of cultural building, this area will become multi-purpose. Now, from religious rituals to cultural programs, all events will get a systematic place here. This will also provide convenience to the devotees coming from far off places.
