Damoh, on Safe Internet Day, a program organized especially among daughters, women and youth on the topic of better internet together was concluded in the dignified presence of MLA Hata Umadevi Khatik and District Panchayat President Ranjita Gaurav Patel. Addressing the daughters and women present on Safe Internet Day, Hata MLA Umadevi Khatik said that the Cyber Cell Security Organizing Program is a very good program, such awareness programs are very necessary. When we step out of the house, we have to face many situations, we have to be aware, women are aware, our coming generation, our daughters, they also need to be aware.
MLA Khatik said that by connecting to telecommunication, we do all kinds of work through mobile, we do not know that we are misusing it as well as making good use of it, which has been explained here today, very good information has been given to women and girls, this program should be organized at block level along with school college so that common people can also become aware and the people of our rural area who will become aware about the use of internet, will be able to use the internet fearlessly.
District Panchayat President Ranjita Gaurav Patel said that this program of cyber cell security is going on continuously, it is an awareness program, our daughters are being made aware, information in this regard has been given today by the team of cyber cell. She said that in the past few days she had gone to KN College where a workshop was organized for girls on how they can move forward in terms of employment. Today I thank the Central and State Governments that this workshop has been organized for women. It has been seen in rural areas that we keep mobile phones but we do not understand what is useful and what is useless in it.
She especially told the girls not to put their mobile number, Aadhaar number, etc. on the website, use only those websites which are safe. Mobile is useful for girls in education but I want to say that they should not put their personal information on the website. There are some websites of the Government of India, we can use them, on which we can easily get good information, we should use those websites. It has been seen that some women go to useless sites while using reels etc., we should avoid this. If children are watching mobile, then mothers and sisters must check once what the children are watching. The mobile phones of children studying online must be checked.
