Patna, Election strategist Prashant Kishor, who has come to try his luck in Bihar politics, has made a big announcement. He said that if his new political party comes to power, he will end the liquor ban in Bihar within an hour. Speaking to the media, Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishor said that his party will end the liquor ban within an hour of forming its government. Prashant Kishor said that the liquor ban decision is a hoax on Nitish Kumar's part. Kishor criticized the current liquor ban and claimed that it has proved ineffective. He said that the liquor ban has increased illegal domestic liquor distribution and deprived the state of potential excise revenue of Rs 20,000 crore. He also accused politicians and bureaucrats of benefiting from the illegal liquor trade. Kishor also said that he believes in the 'politics of competence' and will not hesitate to speak on liquor ban.
