Damoh, Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar said that for me teachers and district education officers are equal, whoever is doing good work, whether it is teacher Madhav Patel or anyone else, we respect them. He said that he has gone to villages for the future of children, children want to move forward, children say sir we want to become doctors, we want to become collectors like you. When they are asked what is the NEET exam, they do not know anything about what NEET is, if they were told from class 8th-9th itself what is NEET, JEE, what is this, IAS. How to give the exam, then it is possible that those children would have come in the competition, so it is the responsibility of all of us to tell all this. The collector was speaking at the workshop organized at Manas Bhawan of National Educational Survey 2024. Joint Director Education S.K. Verma was specially present on this occasion.
The collector said that if I go to the school and tell them something, then I am not doing them a favor, the government pays me for this, it is my duty that if the children ask something, then I should answer them. He said I will walk with you step by step, shoulder to shoulder. I request all of you, God has given you a job to teach the children well, you have taught them well, that is why I am standing here today.
He said that as opportunities come in our family, we work more than normal days. He spoke in detail to all the teachers and all the officers and employees associated with education on many points like quality educational environment in education, role of teachers and efficient discharge of their responsibilities etc. On this occasion, District Education Officer S.K. Nema, Block Education Officer, Principal, BRC and Head Masters of Government and Non-Government Schools were present.
