Prayagraj, Six members of a family returning to Patna after Kumbh bath from Prayagraj died in a horrific road accident. The accident took place near Dulhinganj in Jagdishpur police station area on Friday morning. The deceased include six people including a couple and their two daughters. It is being told that all the family members were returning after taking the Maha Kumbh bath on Friday early morning. But, 40 km before reaching Patna, the driver took a nap near the petrol pump located in Dulhanganj market of Jagdishpur police station area on Ara-Mohania National Highway.

The car collided with a truck parked on the highway in no time. The accident was so horrific that the car was blown to pieces. One wheel of the car was found lying 20 feet away. Within just five minutes, six members of the family died. There was a stir in the area after the incident. A crowd of people gathered on the highway. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took out the people trapped inside the car with the help of local people. But, by then it was too late. None of them survived. Two women and two girls were sitting on the back seat. There was a driver and a man on the front seat.

All the people were residents of Jakkanpur in Patna. Their families have been informed. The family told that all of them had gone to Prayagraj from Patna on Thursday for Maha Kumbh bath. The accident happened while returning.

After the accident, the local people say that the collision was so strong that its echo was heard up to about 200 meters. When we immediately reached there, we saw that the car and the truck were blown to pieces. In no time, six people trapped inside the car died.
