Motihari, illegal business of fake notes is going on in full swing in Bihar. Fake notes are being sent from other countries to the border districts and those fake notes are being circulated in Bihar. Police has arrested a businessman with fake notes worth about 1.5 lakhs after conducting a raid on the basis of secret information.

In fact, the police of East Champaran, located on the Indo-Nepal border, is running a campaign to curb the smuggling of narcotics and fake notes. As part of this campaign, the police has seized hashish worth about 30 crores within a week. Under this campaign, the police has got another success.

The police has arrested a businessman with fake notes worth 1 lakh 44 thousand rupees. The police has taken this action on the Raxaul Chhodadano canal of Chhodadano police station area. The police had received information that a fake currency dealer was carrying a huge bundle of notes, then the police started checking the vehicle.

Meanwhile, the police caught Asif Raj, a businessman carrying a consignment of fake notes on a bike. During the search, the police seized fake notes worth 1 lakh 44 thousand from him. The police has arrested the fake note smuggler and is interrogating him.
