Chitrakoot, In accordance with the provisions of the National Education Policy 2020, on the basis of marks/proficiency obtained in the written examination conducted by the National Council of Teacher Education New Delhi through NTA for teacher education, admission counseling was organized on 22nd and 23rd August 2024 for admission in ITEP (BABEd, BSCBEd, BComBEd) courses in the session 2024-25 in the Tulsi Auditorium of Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya University. Today, on the first day, after registering for admission counseling on the MP Online portal of Gramodaya University, candidates from different states of the country appeared directly for counseling for admission in 150 seats as per the pre-announced program. Candidates from states like Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand etc. participated in the counseling process on the first day. Counseling for admission will also be held on 23 August 2024. It is to be noted that online registration was arranged till August 20 for admission counseling. Vice Chancellor Prof. Bharat Mishra himself came to the counseling site and encouraged the candidates and parents present directly. According to Chairman Admission Committee Prof. RP Bajpai, mobile messages will be sent to the candidates successful in the admission counseling to deposit the course fee. Dr. Shyam Singh Gaur, the coordinator of the direct counseling process, said that members of the counseling committee constituted under the chairmanship of Dean of Arts Faculty Prof. Nand Lal Mishra, Prof. YK Singh, Dr. Anil Agarwal, Dr. CP Gujar, Dr. Santosh Kumar Arsiya, Dr. Shyam Singh Gaur etc. participated. After counseling, the final merit list for admission will be issued as per the reservation rules of the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
