Damoh, Narad Jayanti program organized by Narad Jayanti Utsav Samiti in Damoh was concluded at the local Arihant Residency. The program was inaugurated by senior journalist Narayan Singh Thakur, Superintendent of Police Damoh Shrut Kirti Somvanshi, Krishna Rao Professor, Ashish Dwivedi journalist and Director Ink Media College by lighting the lamp. After this, the chief guests put forth their views in front of the journalists.

Senior journalist Narayan Singh Thakur said that a journalist is the mirror of the society. A journalist should adopt the policy of truthfulness in the society. Journalists should go to the bottom of the news and convey the reality to the people. The journalism of the first journalist Devrishi Naradji is journalism for the welfare of the people. Journalists should do journalism by studying the character and personality of Naradji.

Superintendent of Police Damoh Shri Shrut Kirti Somvanshi said that journalism or any other work is a challenging task in itself. The importance of journalism lies in the fact that journalism is called the fourth pillar of democracy of our country at the global level. A journalist is a person of thought in himself. He sees the events, understands them and also assesses them and presents both its aspects before the society. A journalist should work with honesty. He said that journalists should study literature and books related to journalism so that new vision of looking at the society can be developed.

The keynote speaker Mr. Ashish Dwivedi said that Narad ji has existed ever since the world came into existence. His journey from being a servant's son to becoming a Devarshi was quite challenging. Narad is the son of Brahma ji. Narad ji has been called the first journalist of the world. The genre of journalism came into existence by looking at the character and personality of Narad ji. Narad ji is a Devarshi. The specialty of his personality is that his reach is everywhere; be it the sky or the underworld, the earth, the Yaksha or the Gandharva, Narad ji goes among everyone and Narad ji enjoys respect everywhere. Journalists should do journalism by learning from the personality of Narad ji. He said that once Ratnakar dacoit caught Narad ji while trying to rob, then Narad ji asked him that for whom are you doing this sin, Ratnakar dacoit said that he is doing it to feed his family, then Narad ji said that who will be the partner of this sin, then the dacoit said that it will be his family and he himself, then Narad ji said that once ask your family whether they will be partners in this crime, when he went to the family, they raised their hands and this changed the heart of Ratnakar dacoit, that is, a journalist is one whose words and knowledge change the thinking of the people.

The program was successfully conducted by Himanshu Raikwar and thanks were given by Mukesh Chaurasia, the program was presided over by senior journalist Narayan Singh Thakur, chief guest Superintendent of Police Damoh Shrutkirti Somvanshi, special guest Shri Krishna Rao Professor, keynote speaker Shri Ashish Dwivedi journalist.
