Anuppur, Swachhata Hi Seva fortnight is being celebrated in the whole country but the CEO of the district panchayat has nothing to do with this cleanliness. We are saying this because community cleanliness buildings and community toilets were constructed in almost all the village panchayats of Jaithari district panchayat. Every panchayat spent about '700000' seven lakhs for the construction of one toilet. Although according to the quality of construction, seven lakhs should not have been spent, but poor quality construction was done in seven lakhs. Now when all the community toilets have been completed almost a year ago, they are not useful to any common man because big locks are always found hanging in these community toilets. We will talk about the corruption in this poor quality construction in our next issue. For now, let's talk about the big locks hanging in it. We wanted to know the reason for the locks hanging in these community toilets. In some panchayats, there was a problem of water and in some, there was a problem of sanitation workers. In this way, different problems were told. When the SDO of Janpad Panchayat Jaithari was talked to about this, he gave a different answer. He said that the locks are not only hanging in our district, the condition is the same in the districts of entire Madhya Pradesh, meaning whatever is happening in other districts, we will also do the same, whether it is right or wrong. While collecting information about this, we also understood that these toilets have been constructed with such poor quality material that the Panchayat Secretary is afraid to use them because in just one year, somewhere the walls are cracked, somewhere the floor is getting up, somewhere the water tank is not installed, somewhere the water tank was installed but there was no water connection. Many such situations were found, from this it is clear that a lot of commission was taken in the construction of this community toilet, due to which this construction is showing its color in just one year.
When will these locks be opened, only the CEO knows, how long will the public remain troubled by these locks depends on the mind of the CEO. The quality of construction and commission embezzlement are clearly visible in this photo.
