Shajapur,. Arun Bhimavad, the only MLA who challenged and defeated the rule formed in the district, ousted Congress from Shajapur assembly for the second time. Coming back after the defeat in 2018 and his determination to convert it into victory has raised Bhimavad's stature considerably. Due to this, Bhimavad can also be a face in the cabinet of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Shajapur Assembly has traditionally been a Congress Assembly. In 2013 also, Arun Bhimavad had defeated Hukumsingh Karada in the elections. After this, in 2018, the party lost the election to Arun Bhimavad due to JP Mandloi who rebelled from BJP. If Mandloi had not contested the elections as an independent, the result could have been the same as in 2013. But Bhimavad did not give up and remained active in the field continuously for five years, strengthened himself and filled the enthusiasm in the organization to prove himself. As a result, in 2023, the party expressed confidence in him again to demolish the fort of Congress. Which he proved right and by demolishing the fort of Karada, he turned them back. Not only in Shajapur but also in Shujalpur and Kalapipal, Congress's account remained empty and here too the Congress had to face a crushing defeat.

Another minister from the district...!

The BJP, which came back to power after being out of power in 2018, had increased the prestige of the district by including Inder Singh Parmar in its cabinet. This time also Bhimavad played an important role in liberating the district from Congress by demolishing the Karada fort. Since the voting, Kara's supporters seemed confident about his victory. But after the results came, the whole scenario changed. Neither Karada got victory nor did Panje get votes in Shujalpur and Congress also added 3 seats out of 163 seats of BJP in the district. Due to which there is a possibility that this district may get a new minister and Bhimavad may make his place in the Chief Minister's cabinet.

Close to Shivraj, Modi also held a meeting in his favor
Arun Bhimavad is considered closest to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In such a situation, Arun Bhimavad may get a chance in the new cabinet of the state. Because he has won the elections from Shajapur Assembly for the second time and has succeeded in demolishing the strongest fort of Congress. Not only this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself attended the general meeting during his election and if we talk about politics, two-time District President and second-time MLA Arun Bhimavad is considered very close to many senior leaders of BJP. A staunch supporter of Karnataka Governor Thawarchand Gehlot and he is included in the highly trusted team of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In such a situation, for the expansion of the new cabinet and to give representation to the Patidar community in the Lok Sabha, it is possible that Arun Bhimavad may get a ministerial post this time.
