Nawada, Darbhanga has created a stir after the Palestinian flag was waved recently. Now a similar case has come to light in Nawada as well. Palestinian flag was waved during the Muharram procession. People of the Muslim community going to offer chadarposhi at the shrine were carrying various flags in their hands, Palestinian flag was seen in their hands. A video of this is going viral on social media, although First Bihar-Jharkhand does not confirm the authenticity of this viral video.

In fact, the video of youths waving the Palestinian flag in the procession going to offer chadarposhi at the shrine during Muharram festival in Nawada is becoming increasingly viral on social media, although this viral video has not been confirmed yet. It can be clearly seen in the viral video that the Palestinian flag is being waved by some youths in the procession.

After the flag was waved, the local police has become very active. According to information received from sources, the police is questioning some youths after taking them into custody. It has also been learnt that the police has confiscated that flag from a house. A similar case was reported in Darbhanga during the Muharram festival recently.

On the whole matter, Pakribarawan SDPO Mahesh Chaudhary said that last night he had received information that a procession was being taken out without the permission of the administration and a Palestinian flag was being waved in it. In this case, the police took immediate action and confiscated the flag and three minor boys have been detained and they will be produced in court.
