Saharanpur. The theme of the tenth International Yoga Day on 21 June 2024 has been declared as Yoga for self and society. On this occasion, a mass yoga practice program will be organized in Company Bagh on 21 June from 06:00 am to 08:00 am.

Additional District Magistrate Administration and Nodal Officer Yoga Day Dr. Archana Dwivedi said that Minister Higher Education Department Uttar Pradesh Yogendra Upadhyay ji will participate in the mass yoga practice program to be organized in Company Bagh.

Dr. Archana Dwivedi said that dignitaries, officers and employees will participate in the mass yoga practice program. He directed all the officers to attend the program with their subordinates. He informed that yoga programs will be organized at all Community Health Centres, Primary Health Centres, Health and Wellness Centres of the district. All police stations, police lines, PAC battalions, NCC, NSS, Scout Guides and Provincial Defence Force will also be included in the yoga program. Yoga programs will be organized in primary, secondary and higher primary schools, technical educational institutions.
The Nodal Officer informed that the institution, college, department, gram panchayat, etc. which will make maximum number of yoga practitioners participate in the yoga program will be given certificates to encourage them. He directed that special attention should be paid to punctuality and cleanliness in organizing all the programs.
