Saharanpur | Deoband, Police today arrested a wanted accused and sent him to jail in case of shooting and injuring a villager after a dispute between two parties in village Nangli Noor of Deoband Kotwali area. One accomplice of the arrested accused is still absconding. Deoband Kotwali Inspector Sanjeev Kumar said that yesterday in village Nangli Noor, there was a dispute between two parties after an altercation over an old rivalry. In which Sonu son Vinod was shot in the leg and injured. After which the attackers fled. On the complaint of Sonu, a case was registered under section 307 against Nikhil son Mainpal and Amit son Nawab of the same village. Today the police team has arrested the wanted accused Amit from the road leading to village Babupur Nangli. A pistol and live cartridges were also recovered from the arrested accused Amit. On the basis of the recovery and arrest, Section 3/25/27 of the Arms Act has been added in the above case.
