Under the guidance of Food Safety Administration Damoh Rakesh Ahirwal, under the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006, Food Safety Officer Madhavi Budhaulia, while conducting inspection in Damoh city, conducted surprise inspection of ice vendors, manufacturers and sugarcane juice vendors and found the quality of edible ice and sugarcane juice. Took samples for testing. These samples have been sent to the State Food Testing Laboratory for testing. On receiving the investigation report, legal action will be taken as per rules.

In the inspection proceedings, Gupta Ice Depot located at Sagar Road, Rashid Ice Maker located at Pathani Mohalla, Suresh Bhai Atmaram Ice Manufacturer located at Old Municipality, Ashish Mishra Sugarcane Juice Cart located at Kotwali Square, Ishwar Raikwar Sugarcane Juice Hand Cart and other sugarcane juice sellers are included. . During inspection, it was found that ice was being stored in an unhygienic manner in the premises of ice vendors. On the spot, ice vendors were instructed to store ice in a hygienic manner. All sugarcane juice vendors were instructed to sell sugarcane juice in a safe and clean manner. Instructions were also given on the spot to all shopkeepers to get Fostack training and medical examination certificates made.
