Saharanpur | (Nagal), sensation spread when police found the body of a farmer under suspicious circumstances in Mirpur Mohanpur railway underpass last night. Police sent the body for postmortem on Panchnama at night itself. 45-year-old Vikrant Giri, a resident of Sector 99 of the town, had left home saying he was going to the farm, but did not return till late night. At around 2 o'clock in the night, police found Vikrant's body lying in the railway underpass during patrolling. Police identified the deceased on the basis of the mobile found in his pocket and informed the family. According to the police, the deceased's bike was found parked near the body and a packet of medicine to be kept in wheat was also found nearby, due to which it is believed that Vikrant Giri has committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance. The exact cause of death will be known only after the postmortem report comes.
