Bettiah, A young man lost his life in a tragic accident in Bettiah. A young man died after being hit by a train near Rajghat railway crossing in Majhauliya. The incident is being reported at Rajghat Railway Gumti OHE pole number 196/30 and 32.

The deceased has been identified as Dilip Kumar, 31-year-old son of Ibrahimpur Bazar Tola Virendra Shah of Paharpur police station area under East Champaran district. It is being told that Dilip was mentally deranged and was undergoing treatment.

On Sunday night, Dilip left home with a pickup van loaded with millet and on Monday morning the news came that he died after being hit by a train. The family members are inconsolable over the incident. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
