Saharanpur | Deoband, a youth has accused his brother and his companions of holding him and his father hostage and beating them up and injuring them. The victim has filed a complaint in the police station and demanded action against his brother and other accused. In the complaint given in the police station, Wasim, a resident of Gandhi Colony, said that he is having a dispute with his brother. To settle this dispute, a meeting was to be held at a person's place in Rajupur village of the area. It is alleged that when he reached the village with his father Yunus, five-six people started misbehaving with them as soon as they saw them. Not only this, when the father protested, the accused held him and his father hostage and beat them up. He and his father were injured in the fight. Later, he somehow managed to escape from the clutches of the accused. Now the said people are threatening to kill him. Due to which he and his family are in panic. Kotwali in-charge Sanjeev Kumar said that the matter is being investigated. After the investigation, legal action will be taken against the culprits.
