Shahdol, In the case, the complainant along with her father, brother and mother appeared in the police station and lodged an oral report that she had met Ajay Baiga, a boy from my aunt's daughter's in-laws village, during her marriage. Both started talking to each other on the phone. Some time ago I came to know that Ajay drinks alcohol due to which I stopped talking to him. On 15/02/2022, at around 2 pm, everyone from my house had gone to guard the gram field after having dinner. I was alone when accused Ajay Baiga came to my house and asked why don't you talk to me. Then I said that you drink alcohol, I will not talk to you. When I protested, the accused Ajay Baiga forcefully held my hand, pressed my mouth, threw me on the cot inside the house and forcefully raped me. To save the honor of the house, I did not tell this to anyone that day. Date 30/03/2022, after having dinner at around 9 pm, my parents went to sleep in their room, I was also going to sleep in my room, then the accused entered my room and started pulling me by holding my hand and started doing wrong things with me. Started speaking for. When I raised alarm, my brother and my parents came. When accused Ajay ran away from there. After writing the First Information Report, the investigation proceedings in the case were completed and the charge sheet was presented in the Honorable Court. After completion of evidence, final arguments were presented by the prosecution before the Honorable Court. Agreeing with the seriousness of the case and the arguments of the prosecution, the Honorable Court punished the accused with enhanced punishment. In which the Honorable Court Mr. Sandeep Kumar Soni II Additional Sessions Judge, District Shahdol has registered the crime no. of police station Sohagpur. 156/22, special session case number 126/22, section 451, 376, 354, IPC 3/4, 7/8 POCSO Act, accused Ajay alias Betu, father Bhaiyalal Baiga, age 20 years, resident of Chandaniya police station, Pali district, Umaria Madhya Pradesh, under IPC 10 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1000 in Section 3 read with Section 4 sub-section and Section 7 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act read with 5 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1000 in Section 8 451 IPC 5 years rigorous imprisonment And fine of Rs 1000, 5 years rigorous imprisonment under section 354 of Indian Penal Code and fine of Rs 1000. The prosecution in the case was represented by Mrs. Sushma Singh Thakur, Assistant District Public Prosecution Officer, District Shahdol. On the special request of the prosecution, the Honorable Court ordered compensation to be given to the victim under the State Compensation Scheme.
