Raipur, On the instructions of Secretary cum Excise Commissioner R Sangeeta and Collector Raipur Gaurav Singh, Excise Department District Raipur on Saturday seized a total of 97.46 liters of liquor including Haryana liquor in four different cases and sent four accused to jail. A total of 55.28 liters of foreign liquor, which included premium brand foreign liquor like Jagermaster, Glenlevit, Johnny Walker Gold Label, Roku Jean, Grey Goose Vodka, Silver Patron Tequila for sale in Haryana state and wine labeled for sale in Chhattisgarh state Jacob Creek, Sula, Beer Corona, was seized from accused Parmanand Vishwakarma from Shagun Farm House located on VIP Road. 115 quarters of Masala and 35 quarters of Jammu Whiskey were seized from Avanti Vihar resident Rajkumar Nishad alias Raju Kabadi. 50 quarters of Desi liquor masala was confiscated from Kajal Sharma, resident of Jorapura. 10 quarters of Sholay masala, 6 quarters of Bistro, 5 bottles of Haywards 5000 beer were confiscated from Jagmohan Bhardwaj, resident of Bhatia village, police station Kharora and a case was registered. Assistant District Excise Officer Mr. Rajendra Tiwari, Mr. Ashish Singh, Mr. Vaibhav Mittal and Excise Sub Inspectors Prakash Deshmukh and Kamal Kodopi played an important role in the above actions.
