पंजाबी संस्कृति एक व्यापक अवधारणा है: कुलतार सिंह संधवां

पटियाला, पंजाब विधान सभा के अध्यक्ष श्री कुलतार सिंह संधवां ने कहा कि पंजाबी संस्कृति खुले दिल की पहचान है और यह किसी भी प्रकार के विभाजन का नाम नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारा कर्तव्य है कि हम पंजाबी संस्कृति की इस व्यापक अवधारणा को इतिहास के पन्नों पर सुनहरे अक्षरों में उकेरें।

पंजाबी विश्वविद्यालय में आयोजित 36वें अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पंजाबी विकास सम्मेलन के उद्घाटन अवसर पर अपने संबोधन में श्री संधवां ने कहा कि हमें गर्व होना चाहिए कि पंजाबी सभ्यता दुनिया की सबसे प्राचीन और उत्कृष्ट संस्कृतियों में से एक है। 'पंजाबी समाज की ऐतिहासिक परंपरा: समकालीन प्रासंगिकता' विषय पर आयोजित तीन दिवसीय सम्मेलन के संदर्भ में उन्होंने पंजाबी संस्कृति की अवधारणा के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किए।

उन्होंने कहा कि भले ही बीते समय में पंजाबी संस्कृति को विभाजित करने के प्रयास हुए और पंजाब के कई हिस्से किए गए, लेकिन इसके बावजूद पंजाबी समाज की गहरी एकजुटता बनी रही। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि पंजाबी संस्कृति आज भी अपना एक विशिष्ट और अनोखा स्थान बनाए हुए है।

पाकिस्तानी पंजाब के संदर्भ में बात करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि पंजाबी संस्कृति एक ऐसी सभ्यता है जो सभी प्रकार की बाधाओं से ऊपर है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि हमें इस अवधारणा को जीवंत और प्रोत्साहित करने की आवश्यकता है।

पंजाबी भाषा विकास विभाग द्वारा आयोजित इस सम्मेलन में अपने स्वागत भाषण के दौरान डीन एकेडमिक अफेयर्स प्रो. नरिंदर कौर मुल्तानी ने कहा कि पंजाबी भाषा के विकास के उद्देश्य से स्थापित पंजाबी विश्वविद्यालय का यह विभाग इस उद्देश्य को पूरा करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहा है।

Patiala, Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Mr. Kultar Singh Sandhwan said that Punjabi culture is the identity of open heart and it is not the name of any kind of division. He said that it is our duty to engrave this broad concept of Punjabi culture in golden letters on the pages of history.

In his address at the inauguration of the 36th International Punjabi Development Conference held at Punjabi University, Mr. Sandhwan said that we should be proud that Punjabi civilization is one of the most ancient and excellent cultures of the world. In the context of the three-day conference organized on the topic 'Historical Tradition of Punjabi Society: Contemporary Relevance', he presented his views on various aspects of the concept of Punjabi culture.

He said that even though in the past there were attempts to divide Punjabi culture and Punjab was divided into many parts, but despite this, the deep unity of Punjabi society remained intact. He also said that Punjabi culture still holds a distinct and unique position.

Speaking in the context of Pakistani Punjab, he said that Punjabi culture is a civilization that is above all kinds of barriers. He stressed that we need to keep this concept alive and encourage it.

Views of other speakers of the conference:

During her welcome address at this conference organized by the Department of Punjabi Language Development, Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Narinder Kaur Multani said that this department of Punjabi University, established with the aim of development of Punjabi language, is playing an important role in fulfilling this objective.

Prof. Rajesh Gill in his keynote address discussed the identity of Punjabi society and the contemporary changes taking place in it. He said that Punjabi society has always rejected evils like communalism and casteism, but unfortunately today many evils have entered our society, which need to be addressed.

The inaugural session of the conference was conducted by the Head of the Department, Dr. Parminderjit Kaur. He said that the main objective of this conference is to find solutions to the current problems through Punjabi tradition so that a path can be made for the bright future of Punjab.

Dean Language Faculty Dr. Balwinder Kaur Sidhu discussed the outline of the conference in detail. Dr. Ravel Singh, Convener of Punjabi Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, Delhi, who was present as a special guest, praised the department, mentioning the various development projects of Punjabi.

Cultural programs and other events:
In this three-day conference, 6 academic sessions, 6 inter-academic sessions, 3 special sessions and a special session 'Pungardian Kalmaan' are being organized. Two cultural evenings will also be organized during the conference, in which plays 'Evam Indrajit' and 'Bol Mitti Diyan Baviyan' will be staged.

और उसमें हो रहे समकालीन परिवर्तनों पर चर्चा की। उन्होंने कहा कि पंजाबी समाज ने हमेशा सांप्रदायिकता और जातिवाद जैसी कुरीतियों को अस्वीकार किया है, लेकिन दुर्भाग्यवश आज हमारे समाज में कई कुरीतियां प्रवेश कर चुकी हैं, जिन पर ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है।

सम्मेलन के उद्घाटन सत्र का संचालन विभाग की प्रमुख डॉ. परमिंदरजीत कौर ने किया। उन्होंने बताया कि इस सम्मेलन का मुख्य उद्देश्य पंजाबी परंपरा के माध्यम से वर्तमान समस्याओं का समाधान ढूंढना है ताकि पंजाब के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की राह बनाई जा सके।

डीन भाषा संकाय डॉ. बलविंदर कौर सिद्धू ने सम्मेलन की रूपरेखा पर विस्तार से चर्चा की। विशेष अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित साहित्य अकादमी, दिल्ली के पंजाबी सलाहकार बोर्ड के संयोजक डॉ. रवेल सिंह ने पंजाबी के विभिन्न विकास प्रोजेक्ट्स का उल्लेख करते हुए विभाग की सराहना की।

संस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम और अन्य आयोजन:
तीन दिनों तक चलने वाले इस सम्मेलन में 6 शैक्षणिक सत्र, 6 समान-अंतर शैक्षणिक सत्र, 3 विशेष सत्र और एक विशेष सत्र 'पुंगर्दियां कलमां' का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। सम्मेलन के दौरान दो सांस्कृतिक संध्याओं का भी आयोजन होगा, जिसमें 'एवम इंद्रजीत' और 'बोल मिट्टी दियां बावियां' नाटकों का मंचन किया जाएगा।
