Why the expansion?
Amit Shah's four visits to the state is the major reason for cabinet expansion in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government 3 months before the elections. According to the report, Shah had instructed veteran BJP leaders to give place in the cabinet on the basis of their caste and regional balance. Let us inform that there are a total of 35 seats in the MP cabinet. Of these, 30 are ministers and 1 is CM Shivraj himself. There, 4 ministerial posts are vacant.
