Damoh, Under the instructions given by Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar, under the guidance of D.O. Food Safety Administration Rakesh Ahirwal, Food Safety Officer Madhavi Budhaulia conducted inspection proceedings and inspected the Government Integrated High School located in village Laxman Kuti of the district. During this, the quality of prepared potatoes, chickpeas, tomato vegetable, kheer and puri distributed under mid-day meal was checked with the help of mobile food testing laboratory. The operator of the self-help group distributing food was instructed to prepare and distribute quality, pure and safe food.

On the spot, chemist Saurabh Bhardwaj of Mobile Food Testing Laboratory made the cooks and group operators aware by providing food safety related training. The quality of prepared food, spices, milk and other food items including milk products was checked by the mobile food testing laboratory. Through the mobile food testing laboratory, all the students of the school were also made aware of adulteration through chemical testing.
