Raipur, before the urban body elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a big reshuffle in its organization and announced the names of new district presidents of 15 districts. This announcement was made at the BJP office in Raipur on Sunday, where the workers welcomed the new presidents with drums and fireworks. Prominent leaders and district election officers were present in the meeting.

The BJP has assigned responsibility to the new presidents to strengthen the organization in various districts. The names of the 15 district presidents who have been announced are as follows:

The responsibility of Raipur Rural has been given to Shyam Narang.

The responsibility of Kanker district has been given to Mahesh Jain.

Ramesh Thakur has become the president of Raipur city district.

Purushottam Devangan has been assigned the responsibility in Bhilai.

Surendra Kaushik has been made the president in Durg.

Ghasiram Nag has been appointed in Bijapur.

Lalji Yadav has been selected for Gaurela Pendra.

Chaman Deshmukh has been made the president in Balod district.

Muralidhar Soni has been made the BJP president of Surajpur district.

Dinanath Kesharwani has been made the BJP president of Mungeli district.

Arundhar Diwan has been made the BJP president of Raigarh district.

Omprakash Jaiswal has been made the BJP president of Balrampur district.

Bharat Singh has been made the BJP president of Jashpur district.

Namrata Singh has been given the responsibility in Chowki Mohla Manpur.

Manoj Sharma has been made the BJP president of Korba district.

The district presidents of Rajnandgaon and Kawardha have not been announced.

Thus, before the urban body elections, BJP has made a big change in its organization. After the announcement of the district presidents, it is now believed that the process of election of the state president will begin. If sources are to be believed, the names of the five main contenders in the race for the state president of BJP include Dharamlal Kaushik, Shivratan Sharma, Vikram Usendi, Narayan Chandel and Kiran Singhdev.
