According to the local police, this morning some farmers from Maner Ganga Diara area were returning to Mahavir Tola Ghat after loading vegetables and grass on a boat. During this time, the boat sank in the Ganga river about 20 meters before Mahavir Tola Ghat. During this time people started shouting on the spot. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the SDRF team reached the spot. Somehow 8 people came out. But, 2 people are still reported missing.
