Raigarh, the brief details of the case are as follows that the deceased Raju Suryavanshi, resident of Baghauda police station Champa, was living with his family in village Kurubhantha Bhupdevpur (Raigarh), J.S.W. Used to work as a laborer in Bhupdevpur Raigarh. In his village house, his parents and his brothers lived in the same house, they had come to village Badhauda from Kurubhantha in the month of January 2024 and lived in the same house with their family. On 26.03.2024, at around 07.00 in the morning, the deceased Raju Suryavanshi told his wife to give me his pants, shirt and purse, I will go to Bhupdevpur Raigarh to look for work, then his wife said that she has not seen the purse, both husband and wife quarreled among themselves. While the conversation was going on, the younger brother of the deceased, the accused Sameer Suryavanshi came and abused his elder brother Raju Suryavanshi over a domestic dispute and gave him a life-threatening injury by breaking the iron pan and hitting him on the head, which was given proper treatment by the accused. For this, he was taken to the district hospital Janjgir, where the doctor, after checking him, declared him dead and brought the body of the deceased back to his home in Baghauda, after getting information about which the Champa police station immediately went to the spot, inspected the body and took Panchnama proceedings. The dead body was taken and sent for PM, after it was written in the short PM report that the deceased died due to serious injuries, crime number 152/2024 section 302 IPC was registered against the accused in Champa police station and taken up for investigation.

During the investigation, the accused Sameer Suryavanshi, aged 22 years, resident of Baghoda, was taken into custody and interrogated regarding the incident. A memorandum statement was taken in which he stated that he was killed by beating him with an iron pan due to a domestic dispute and the iron pan used in the incident was recovered from the possession of the accused. It has been recovered and evidence of crime under Section 13 has been found against the accused and he has been duly arrested and sent on judicial remand on 27.03.2024. Investigation is continuing in the matter.
